I grew up in Smithfield, VA and received Christ as my Savior at an early age. At the age of 14, I believed God called me into full time ministry and I went to Crown College of the Bible for my Seminary degree. We have been serving in full time ministry for 11+ years and I am now the Pastor/church planter of the Newport News Baptist Church. We were sent out of Calvary Baptist Church in Smithfield, VA. Through their support and the support of many other churches we have been able to see our church grow and flourish. Several people have trusted Christ over the last 3 years and I give all the honor and glory to God for His blessing and provision. I graduated from Denbigh Baptist Christian School in 2004 and I am so happy to be teaching Bible at my Alma Mater. I am praying for a wonderful year of learning and growth! I am excited about the opportunity to impact my students for the cause of Christ! My life verse is I Thessalonians 2:4, "But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the Gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts."
