David Brainerd Christian School held a ground breaking ceremony for the new, on campus, softball and baseball fields.  The ceremony was held Friday night May 2nd as spectators gathered at the DBCS high school soccer game as the Wildcats hosted Telico Plains in the first round of the district tournament.  The crowd enjoyed free hotdogs, and snacks as they watched the Wildcats roll to victory. As the game concluded the ceremony proceeded with a tour of the new fields and the ground breaking began. Four shovels were placed at home plate of the baseball field as the softball and baseball coaches, board members, boosters and headmaster "broke ground" for the new fields.
