Farewell to a Short but Significant Era

David Brainerd Christian School will be remembered as a school that nurtured her students while demanding the best from them.  A critical part of our mission was to teach rigorous core subjects with a biblical worldview, to prepare our students not only for college, but for the world that would surround them as they took on more independence.  We succeeded in that mission, as our graduates will attest.

David Brainerd did not require a statement of faith for entry, but it was made clear to all who entered its classrooms that our faculty and staff were committed to the charge of Christ--to know Him and make Him known.  This was supported enthusiastically by a majority of parents through their financial and personal time commitments.  We thank them wholeheartedly for their participation.

It is our hope and prayer that someday Chattanooga will again be blessed with a school that can reistablish the mission and values of David Brainerd Christian School.
