Mike Holland

Michael Holland was born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania with his twin brother Patrick. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 10. Mike graduated high school in June of 1990 and left home to join the U. S. Army at the age of 17. He served active duty during the first Gulf War in Kuwait and Iraq and then served his remaining time with the Army Reserves achieving the rank of Corporal. Since 1994 Mike has been at Fort Eustis working as a Paramedic/Firefighter. He has worked as an Assistant Fire Chief for the last 15 years. Mike has been happily married for 23 years to Stacey Holland and they have a daughter and two sons.

Mike has 14 years of experience coaching with various volunteer organizations and at DBCS. Philippians 4:13 is Coach Holland's favorite verse to live by - "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."

Coach Holland is dedicated to encouraging DBCS student-athletes to take their next step of faith in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He will also encourage them to reach their full academic potential in the classroom.
