Holly Hall

MS English & History

Holly Hall is a native of Newport News, Virginia, and attended Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University) for 5 years. While at PBU, she obtained her B.S. in Biblical Studies, a B.S. in Social Studies Education, her M.Ed in International Education, and an ACSI teaching certification. Upon graduation, Holly began her teaching career with Newport News Public Schools, ministering in the community where she grew up. After several years of local teaching, Holly was approached by DBCS and accepted a position as a middle school teacher.

Teaching both English and Social Studies to middle schoolers, Holly’s goal is to foster a deep comprehension of language with her students by teaching them to comprehend others’ writings and create their own. She enjoys guiding students to interpret the events of history through a Biblical lens. Her hope is that her middle schoolers will grow stronger in their understanding of their faith and how it changes their perception of the world.
