Upper Level Mathematics and Physics
Stacy Airhart is an alumni of DBCS from the class of 2015. Following her time at DBCS, she attended Thomas Nelson Community College for two years where she got an Associate's Degree in Math Education. After graduating from TNCC, she attended Liberty University where she majored in Mathematics and graduated in 2019. Stacy knew from a young age that she wanted to teach, but it was after graduation before she knew where God wanted her. She is very excited to be back at DBCS teaching high school math. When asked about what her goal is for her students, she says, "I do not expect all students to love math, but my goal is that the students love math more when they leave my class than when they entered."
Not only is Stacy teaching math, but she is also coaching volleyball and basketball at DBCS after school. She is thankful for the relationships that she is building with her students and players, both in the classroom and on the court. She has no doubt this is where God wants her, and she is thankful for all of the teachers, staff, administration, and students that she gets to work with every day.
In her free time, Stacy enjoys riding rollercoasters and spending time with family and friends.
